Great Deal Original Samsung DLP TV Lamp with Housing BP96-00823A Replacement

I was a bit concerned when I compared the lamp that came out of the TV with this one and the new one was about 30% smaller. I went ahead and installed it anyway and it fit and is as bright as the original. I couldn’t beat the price either.

The new lamp did not totally solve the problem. Maybe our tv needs to be replaced. Hard to rate this item because I am not sure if the problem persists because of the replacement lamp or the tv itself.

Great Deal Samsung BP96-01653a DLP Lamp with Housing

Easy to install and does what is supposed to do. Don’t know how long it will last as I only had it about a month, but so far so good.

Lamp Issues – Raul J Burruel –
I ordered the lamp a couple of months ago. It burned out two weeks ago. I contacted the company and they sent out a new one when they recieved my old one. Easy to return, we’ll see if the second one lasts longer.

Great Deal SAMSUNG BP96-00826A LAMP WITH HOUSING LTI/PHILLIPS

After 4 years my DLP Samsung went black. I read reviews on the TV’s and found out MANY were Lemons. However, I started with replacing this lamp (on my own, it’s SIMPLE – no repair guy needed.) Once again, my TV is back to it’s beauty, I had an awesome picture until it died but, now it’s a 1000 fold better. I guess nothing lasts forever but, this lamp brought it back and was cheaper than a new TV. Hope I get at least another 4 years, I hear most don’t.

Our Samsung TV was getting a little dim and I wasn’t sure if it was the bulb’s fault. The shipping was faster than expected and, using the TV user’s manuel, I put the new bulb in with little or no problem. I had a little tough time getting it lined up but when I did, I slid right in. The results are great; looks like we have a new TV.
