I have this hooked up to my computer and watch full screen movies on it from time to time. My computer (running XP) picked up the correct drivers for it right away and It seems to display great. Very happy with this TV a lot of good reviews so I will just hit some basic points the other ones brought up. Sound is fine for me and my gaming needs I can barely turn the TV up halfway without it blasting me out. Sure it may not be theater quality but it is better then past TVs I’ve owned. As other people have brought up if you are not facing the TV directly it will seem dim. I have mine set above my desk and it is dim unless I have it pointed downward a bit. I will probably end up getting a diffrent mount for it. The TV does not come with a mount that allows it to tilt up and down so keep this in mind! Picture quality is very good on my xbox 360, very happy with it!

I purchased this for use in the bedroom because of the compact size. The t.v. was easy to set up and had a nice appearence. The problems are that the sound is terrible and the picture quality is sub standard. I do not recommend this set, spend a little more and get a better sound and picture quality unit. i returned this item.

Great Deal Samsung Touch Of Color T220HD 22-inch LCD HDTV Monitor

No dead pixels, arrived fast in perfect shape. It is a sleek, good looking unit (but it does show the dust). A bonus is our Samsung TV remote and monitor remote are interchangeable for basic functions. Some reviews didn’t like the reflective frame, I waited to see if my husband would even notice…he didn’t, and I have no problem with it at all. Ditto for the on/off button, not a big enough issue to fret about, and I actually like the way it works…sort of futuristic. It was hooked up in less than 20 minutes, and it fits well on our small computer desk next to our printer. We hooked up external speakers so I can’t comment on speaker quality. An impressive upgrade for a petite price…nice!

I was very happy with the features when I bought this. I wasn’t expecting the sound to go bad within months. I wasn’t expecting to have the same problem after I shipped it to Samsung for repairs. When it did exhibit the same problem again, I asked Samsung to provide a different unit. Their reply: I would have to have the same problem three times before they would do anything other than “fix” it again and return it to me. So, I shipped it to them again. I pulled it out of the box and set it up only to find that the problem with the sound was even worse than it was when I had sent it to them!

Samsung’s response this time was to offer to send me a refurbished unit. Given that this means I will be receiving a unit that their repair team refurbished I have absolutely no confidence that I will have a unit that works. I will simply be waiting to see what issues the refurbished unit demonstrates.

I would not advise buying Samsung’s products. It doesn’t help to have a warranty if they are not able to back it up. I thought the three year warranty was going to ensure that I had a working unit. Each time I send it to them I have weeks without any unit. Samsung’s only accommodation is to say they’re sorry for the trouble. Really? I have seen no evidence that they care to have their customers purchase Samsung products in the future.

Good TV – Great Picture, Decent Sound – Big –
The picture is everything you would expect from a Samsung: crystal clear and beautiful. HDTV, Blu Ray, and PS3 games look brilliant, and the screen seems larger than 22 inches. That being said, the speakers could have used some more power behind them. They are a bit soft.

This is my first purchase of a LCD tv. I think that the plasma screen gives a better picture because there is no distortion from any viewing area, but the LCD is a good picture if viewed straight on. If you sit too close though, it gets a little grainy.

This is our first flat panel TV and we did quite a bit of research before purchasing. Seems different manufacturers concentrate on different sizes – Samsung had by far the best picture for the 22″ class (looked at a bunch of TV’s at Best Buy to compare). TV size was dictated by where it’s being used. Great antenna – we have no cable at our rural location and often have a difficult time receiving local stations. This TV already had 90% of the local stations with only the coaxial cable connected – I hadn’t even connected the antenna yet. With antenna connected it receives all local channels perfectly.

The owner’s manual is a bible – there are about 1000 features to this TV that we’ll never use nor understand. HDTV feature is stunning when using new Blu-Ray Disc player. Have only been using for about one month (Christmas present to ourselves)but so far so good. Would recommend highly.
